Goni’s Gourmet started after Chef Goni, went through a journey to start one of the newest, most diversified, and fast-growing in-home catering business in the New Canaan area and we just recently began mailing meals as well.
Chef Goni started his journey as a normal student graduating high school and going to college. However, he had a passion, food. Chef Goni attended Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, while also working with Michelin Star Chefs. After graduating, Chef Goni worked many positions in fine dining. Learning was all he focused on while in those kitchens. He finally decided it was time to create a business that would cater to anyone near or far with the highest quality of food at an affordable price.
With Goni’s Gourmet you can enjoy many selections between chicken, our most popular is stir fried with cherry tomatoes. We offer a sirloin steak cooked to perfection. Our Shrimp or Salmon over rice is especially delicious. If meat is not for you, we offer two vegetarian options, rice and black beans, or shredded tofu curry.
Ever since Chef Goni began this catering business it has been an absolute success going from small dinner parties at personal houses to larger events. Goni’s Gourmet is growing and will begin to do big scale events. As a company we not only have a passion for food but also for our customers and their satisfaction.

A lovely bed of wild-rice mix with egg, broccoli, and a spritz of lemon topped with delicious sauteed shrimp with a side of broccoli.
A wonderful vegetarian dish, rice added to celery, carrots, and green onions finished with perfectly cooked black beans sprinkled with raisins.
